College Club
The Lincoln College Club plays an integral role in life at the College.  All resident students are required to be members of the Club; this is at the heart of every students’ role at Lincoln:  their opportunity to have their say in college community.

  • An autonomous incorporated body, the College Club is the organising body for students' social, sporting and cultural life. It also organises greater community activities such as charity fundraisers.
  • It provides such services as daily newspapers, sporting equipment, weight room equipment, televisions, VCR, vending machines, fridges, and runs the College Shop.
  • The College Club Executive is elected in the fourth term each year.  The Executive are responsible for fine tuning Club activities and making sure that there’s never a boring moment at college.
  • The Club holds an Ordinary General Meeting at least once a term.  Attendance is compulsory and all students are encouraged to participate in discussion.
  • The College Club President is an ex-officio member of the Lincoln College Council and reports to the Council on student activities. The Club produces a budget annually and recommends club fees for the forthcoming year. This recommendation is considered and approved by the Council for collection by the College.
  • The Club produces a well loved weekly news sheet, known as the IBEX, that lets everyone know what’s been going on at College that week.  Everyone can contribute, whether it’s a joke, photo, or a witty poem.
  • An annual magazine published by the Club and known as the STAG has been going since the College first came into being; the first one was published in 1953! The STAG is available to all Collegians and is a record of the great things that the Club and its members got up to throughout the year.

Your President for 2010 is busy working with the Executive committee to work out what you'll be getting up to this coming year.  We'll soon have your calendar up so you can see what's in store for you this year.
