Application Process
NOTE: if you are applying as a returning resident to Lincoln College please go to the Readmissions page on the Current Residents page.
1- Timing
Applications are normally lodged between July and November the year before you wish to arrive but are accepted at other times. This time frame corresponds to the average timing of university application and acceptance schedules around Australia. If you are uncertain about how this affects your situation please contact the College.
2 - Application formsApplication forms can be
downloaded here.
(PLEASE NOTE: our new online application is coming soon. In the meantime please use this form to apply for 2011.) If you prefer to have us send you an application pack please either
email us or ring the office with your request. If you are uncertain about anything in the application please contact the College for clarification.
3 - ApplyingPlease post your application for admission to the college. Please refer to the application form for current required documentation (including application fee) and conditions of admission, as well as current rules of residency at Lincoln College.
We will send you a letter confirming we have received your application. This does not mean you have been accepted, but means that you have provided all required documentation and that your application will be reviewed for consideration.
4 - InterviewIf considered for residency you will be contacted to set a time for an interview with the Principal, either in person or over the phone (depending on distance). The interview is fairly informal and is a way for the Principal to establish whether you are right for Lincoln College and whether it is right for you. You will receive a letter within 2 weeks of your interview notifying you of your interview outcome.
5 - When acceptedIf accepted you will be contacted by our office with further details and you’ll be on your way!
